St. Theresa Mission Hospital – Kiirua(STMH-K) is a level 5 Faith Based Healthcare Facility in the Catholic Diocese of Meru. It is one of the Apostolic Services of the Congregation of The Little Sisters of St. Therese of the Child Jesus. The hospital is located in Buuri Sub-County of Meru County and it has been in existence since 1967.The healing and healthcare ministry was initiated by Sisters Maria Pia Santandrea and Giuliana Menghi.  Their efforts began with a dispensary and later a maternity wing was added.

In the year 2002,STMH-K became a full-fledged hospital with a capacity of 80 registered beds. In the same year, the hospital got its first Surgeon and started Theater Services. Currently, the hospital has a bed capacity of 235  and offers a wide range of primary and  secondary healthcare services. It also offers other specialized services including Renal , Oncology, ICU and HDU services.

Over the years, the hospital has consistently grown, transforming from a mere dispensing room in the church sacristy,  to a  Level 5 Facility(Where it currently stands) as recognized and certified by the Government of Kenya through the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board.

It belongs to the network of facilities under the Catholic Health Commission of the Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops (KCCB).
