In line with our hospital vision we have been looking forward to be “A preferred hospital offering Responsive and Holistic Quality healthcare, Teaching and Referral Services” .
Now, STMH-K has finally been upgraded to a level 5 healthcare facility, this makes us a teaching and referral facility at par with other level 5 facilities in the country. This means we can now offer specialized care and surgeries like spine surgery, joint replacement surgery and delicate brain surgeries all covered by NHIF.
This coming after our commencement of Medical internship training and opening of the ultramodern critical care unit meaning the level of care we offer to our patients has risen to level warranting this recognition and licensing.
Having been approved as an internship and training center, we receive medical students of different levels, i.e Medical officer interns, Clinical officers interns, Nursing students, Registrars(student orthopedic doctors), Anesthetists students among others. They are now able to acquire a wide range of skills and knowledge to enable them to be competent in the medical field. We also have a wider platform for training and learning.
