St. Theresa Mission Hospital – Kiirua is home to the most sophisticated radiology facility in Eastern Region of Kenya. Our department provides a comprehensive range of Imaging Services, including both routine and specialized procedures. With the best technology available today, the hospital is establishing leadership in diagnostic and interventional imaging in the medical sector.
SERVICES:
- 16 SLICE CT SCANNER – This imaging machine is able to generate 16 slices per tube rotation, therefore enabling a radiologist to detect any condition with a high degree of accuracy. The machine also performs specialized complex procedures that include Angiograms, Autograms and Urograms.
- X-RAY – The department has a modern X-Ray Unit and a CR processing unit that provides high quality images of diagnostic value. Special procedures such as H.S.G and I.V.U are also done in the X-Ray unit.
- ULTRASOUND – The department is equipped with a new generation Ultrasound machine that performs a wide range of ultrasound examinations. These include Obstetrics, Abdomen, Pelvic and Soft Tissue Ultrasound examinations. Ultrasound guided procedures are also performed under the guidance of well-trained Sonographers.
- DENTAL X-RAYS – A wide range of dental X-Rays are performed as requested by our well experienced dentists in our fully equipped Dental X-Ray Unit.
