All patients, both adults and children have the right to access the right medication. At St. Theresa Mission Hospital – Kiirua, our Pharmacy department operates within the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) regulations. The Pharmacy is manned by a team of qualified professional staff who offer quality services to our clients by ensuring that the dispensed medication is safe, appropriate and easily affordable.
The Drugs and Therapeutic Committee in the department plays a vital role in ensuring that the Medicine and Medical supplies are procured from qualified suppliers thus ensuring that quality drugs are availed.
The Pharmacy department consists of five pharmacies. Three Inpatient Pharmacies, 1 Outpatient Pharmacy and one Main Pharmacy store. All the Pharmacies are stocked with a wide range of quality and essential drugs. The Outpatient Pharmacy offers 24 hour service to our clients.
